Why

Ad costs in Saudi e-commerce turned into a price war. Stores paid more every month for the same visitor, and most of those visitors still left without buying.

The product's own line puts it plainly: the problem is not the traffic, it is that the store does not convert.

Merchants patched it with separate apps. One for reviews, one for urgency, one for analytics. None of them shared data, so nobody could say which change actually moved revenue.

02

How

One platform, not ten apps

Every storefront tool, test and report shares a single data model, so a result can be traced to the change that caused it.

First-party data first

The store's own clickstream, Salla orders and reviews come first. Google Analytics and benchmarks sit on top, never instead.

Installed inside Salla

OAuth, webhooks for orders, carts, products and reviews, and a storefront snippet. Billing runs through Salla subscriptions.

Security before scale

An audit found 9 issues, including access-control gaps. All 9 were fixed and deployed before store data was at stake.

03

What

  • Storefront tools a merchant turns on without code, each one A/B testable
  • A diagnosis engine that ranks fixes using store data, Google Analytics, benchmarks and test results
  • A first-party clickstream: sessions, flows, rage and dead clicks, and the checkout field that loses orders
  • Audience analysis with RFM segments, retention cohorts and lifetime value
  • Voice of the customer: a survey builder, synced Salla reviews and a review summariser
  • A help centre, support tickets, and pricing limited by storefront views, never by features

Wathba is live and onboarding its first stores. Conversion results get published when there are real stores behind them, not before.

What it proves

A platform that would normally be scoped as a product team's roadmap went live as one engineer's month.
